Latest Updates from Our Project:

A Quick Production Update!
23 days ago – Wed, Mar 11, 2026 at 04:13:55 PM

Hello, Agents!

We wanted to drop in and fill you in on the production status of your favorite literary-infused comic book!

Right now, issue #7 is in the coloring stage. Our extremely talented colorist, Ryan Kroboth, has already completed a large portion of the rendering on the main characters, which is one of the most time-intensive parts of the process. Things are moving along nicely, and we’re hoping to have colors wrapped by the beginning of May.

Meanwhile, Brant Fowler, our wonderful designer, has already begun lettering the issue, so multiple parts of the production pipeline are moving forward at once.

And the team isn’t slowing down. Alice Leclert has already started work on Issue #8, which means the next chapter of the story is already taking shape behind the scenes!

Thank you all for the continued support. We’re incredibly grateful to have you along for the ride, and we'll be back with more updates soon!

Thank you so much for supporting us and Crossover Division #7!

Quick update to let you know that the BackerKit surveys were sent out earlier this week. Get those surveys in so we can get your preferred name in the PDF. Besides the survey, you can also pick-up any issues you might have missed via BackerKit Add-Ons.

If you didn't get a survey, or have questions, please let me know. You can reach out via BackerKit, Kickstarter, or Gmail ([email protected]).

Again, thank you so much for supporting us on this campaign. We couldn't make Crossover Division without you. We'll be launching Crossover Division #8 soon and would really appreciate your continued support.

Click here or the image above to follow the project and get notified when we launch...and might that be art by Eisner Award Winner for Best Cover Artist Tula Lotay? The game is afoot, so click the link and follow the project to find out!

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via Kickstarter or e-mail at [email protected].

Thank you all again for believing in us and Crossover Division and giving us your support and trust.

Agents,

Thank you so much for supporting us and Crossover Division!

My apologies, the holidays distracted me last month, and I completely forgot to post our normal, monthly update. Not making that mistake this month.

Everything is still on track for February 2026 delivery, and the BackerKit surveys should go out soon.

Please have a happy and wonderful holiday season.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via Kickstarter or e-mail at [email protected].

Thank you all again for believing in us and Crossover Division and giving us your support and trust.

Monthly Updates & What to Expect When You're Expecting...Rewards
5 months ago – Sun, Nov 02, 2025 at 11:57:44 AM

Thank you so much for supporting us and Crossover Division #7!

For returning agents, thank you for coming back and supporting us again, and for all you new recruits, Welcome to Crossover Division!

Now that the campaign has ended, it's time to move into the next phase of the project, completing the colors and lettering, printing, getting the rewards together, and fulfillment. It's probably a good idea to discuss the timeline and what you can expect when you're expecting...your rewards.

Yeah, this is me explaining things.

Before we jump into that, though, let's thank the amazing team of artists that made this issue possible. You should follow all of them on social media to keep up with everything they are working on.

Now, back to Crossover Division #7. First, 96.55% of pledges have been successfully processed by Kickstarter.

That's freakin' awesome!

Still, that leaves 6 backers whose pledges have errored in some way, but don't worry if this happens to you. It's a simple fix, and usually just means your credit card info with Kickstarter is not up to date. To update your payment information, simply log into Kickstarter and update your account (Kickstarter will also send you an email to fix this). Please resolve those pledges ASAP, otherwise Kickstarter will cancel your pledge.

I've also just sent you a message via Kickstarter to let you know.

Now, on to the timeline.

It will be around 2 weeks until Kickstarter releases the funds. During this time, I'll be verifying quotes and getting all the rewards together. Pablo is finished with the art for the issue, and Ryan and Brant will start working on the colors and the lettering soon. Once they are done, we'll send the files to our printer. Printing should take about 4 weeks, but that is a best guess. I'll certainly keep you in the loop as we move through the production process. After everything is printed, I'll get the books shipped to me, and then begin fulfillment. Currently, shipping books to all you wonderful backers is scheduled for the first week of February...assuming we don't hit any snags in the process.

I'll send out surveys via BackerKit in the coming weeks so that I can get your preferred names to list in the Crossover Division #7 PDF Thank You Page.

I will move to monthly updates probably on Friday nights starting November 28th. If you're interested, I also publish a weekly newsletter on Monday nights, called The Midnight Hour. You can sign-up here (https://bit.ly/2gW4LfJ), and you can follow me on Bluesky at @wallred.bsky.social‬.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via Kickstarter or e-mail at [email protected].

Thank you all again for believing in us and Crossover Division and giving us your support and trust.

You did it!

You got Crossover Division #7 funded!

172 amazing backers came together and pushed us well past our funding goal and into 5 stretch goals!

Thank you again so much for supporting us and Crossover Division.

It's been a wonderful campaign, but between the campaign ending and handing out candy tonight for Halloween, I'm worn-out, so I'm going to get some rest.

But before I do that, I want to thank all of you wonderful backers and everyone who helped make this project a success.

Thank you agin from the whole team.

Expect an update this weekend outlining what to anticipate in the coming weeks and months.

Thanks again!

- Will and the entire Crossover Division Team
